Mrs. Ann Thompson is currently the 5th Grade teacher. She began teaching at Cavendish Town Elementary School in 1992. Prior to teaching she worked for Abraham & Straus Inc. Brooklyn, New York as a clothing buyer and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a publicity writer for a construction management firm. She has her MasterŐs degree from the Vermont Science Institute Program and graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management with a minor in Marketing. Mrs. Thompson is a writing network leader for the State of Vermont. She has also traveled to Japan, China and the Mayan ruins in Tulum, Mexico. Her interests include running, camping and hiking, music, gardening, traveling, swimming and art. She currently resides in Springfield, Vermont on Cavendish Game Bird Farm with her husband, Rick and son, Elliot and daughter, Janie.
