Amy Jones graduated from the Univesity of Hartford with a degree in Art. She has worked at Cavendish Town Elementary School since the fall of 1999. She has also provided her services to the Yearbook Commitee during the past three years, and co-ran the TV club during the 2001-2002 school year. She resides in Chester with her husband.

, Polly Westcott began teaching in 1984 at Kurn Hatten Homes as an assistant. She earned a B.A. in music education in 1995 through the External Degree program at Johnson State College, and taught general and choral music at Keene Middle School until 1997. This marks her sixth year teaching instrumental music at both Cavendish and Chester Andover Elementary Schools. Polly is at CTES on Thursday afternoons and is at the new Opportunities in Learning Program on Thursday mornings. |

Originally from New York State. Art has a Bachelors Degree in Music and Masters in Music Education. He has received an AAS in Respiratory Therapy. He also has been in the army for 22 years with jobs as a pharmacy technician, a medic, a cook, a mechanic and a truck driver. In addition to working at Cavendish Town Elementary School, Art works at Benson Village School and Orwell Village School where he teaches vocal, general and instrumental music for EEE - 8th grade. Art has taught in the public schools for 9 years and privately for more than 30 years. His hobbies include old volvos an motorcycles. He can play bass, guitar, keyboards, trumpet, baritone, tuba, trombone, all saxophones and some percussion instruments. He also currently plays in 2 bands; one local which plays (stand up and dance) rock where he plays bass and lead occasionally; and a country band where he almost always play lead guitar. In his spare time Art takes care of 7 dogs, 7 cats and numerous chickens. He used to hunt, fish and snow ski a great deal, but now has little time to enjoy those things, although he still skis and snow boards whenever he can.
