| WEEKLY UPDATE Dear Parents,
Next week will be going on a field trip Wednesday to see Paul Revere.
This ties in nicely with our current social studies unit which pertains to major historical events of the 18th century. Students are currently working on a project that describes particular aspects of the Constitution.
Ask your child to show you the class website and blog. We will also be podcasting our river study in iTunes. Students are busy finishing up many things including Unit 3 in Everyday Math, River podcasts, and our dramatic reading of The Raven. We will be filming our dramatic reading of The Raven so everyone can get a chance to view it.
This week we received two benches built by Kaitlin’s grandfather. The benches will be stained and augmented with vines and flowers by the kids with Mrs. Jones’ guidance. They should be amazing when they finish. Next week children will have raffle tickets for sale. The tickets will be $1.00 each and 6 for $5.00.
