Kindergarten News
Every week we have a special share time called "On Spotlight," with a special bulletin board that showcases the student for the week. Each student gets to share something about themselves and their favorite things, and the other students get to ask them questions. Grade expectation: Understanding and appreciating that he or she is alike and different from other people in many different ways (e.g., personal physical characteristics, likes and dislikes).
In continuation of our study of self, we have talked about and are practicing respect for others. Also, how telling the truth is a part in respecting ones self and others. We acted out situations that showed telling and not telling the truth, and how those made us feel. This will be an on going endeavor.
During the month of November, we will be studying about our Senses.
