| Upcoming Events & Reminders Just a couple of reminders:
• Our entire school is working with literacy consultant David Liben to improve our reading scores. Our focus area right now is fluency. Monday -Thursday evening your child has a "fluency" passage to practice. On the fluency passage is a spot to sign that your child has completed their fluency practice.
• Wed., Feb. 8--"Thomas Edison: Inventor, Lecturer and Prankster" at Woodstock Theatre, leave CTES at 11:30am, return by 2pm
• Fri., April 13--Field trip to the Vermont Historical Society Museum in Montpelier, VT. Traveling by bus with grade 6. Leave CTES at 8am, return to CTES at 3pm. For more information about the museum visit: http://www.vermonthistory.org/museum.htm
• Wednesday May 2, 9, 16, 23, and 20--STARBASE--Rutland Armory, Rutland, VT. Leave CTES at 8am and return by 3pm each day. We need volunteers to drive to STARBASE on these days. If you are interested, please let me know ASAP. For more information about STARBASE visit: http://www.starbasevt.org/
